Myddle Quarries

This is an ongoing project to identify the history of the sandstone quarries in the Myddle area.

The quarry is on Lower Road, Myddle in Shropshire. Stone has been quarried in the area since at least 1300's.

The stone from this quarry is currently processed by Shropshire Stone and Granite, Baschurch.
