Sunday 23 August  2—6 pm    £3      APPLEGARTH, Marchamley

About one third of an acre, trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials.  Follow arrows at bus shelter on A442 in Marchamley.  Teas, plant stall, parts suitable for wheelchairs.

 

Myddle Pre-School

 

We are delighted to welcome another new child to Myddle Pre-school, Katie McCarthy seems to love her sessions with us and has settled in very nicely.

 
This half term we have been looking at the theme: OUR ENVIRONMENT. We have looked at homes and houses, both in the UK and abroad and explored how we and other cultures live. The children have loved doing lots of messy activities including junk modelling and clay work. We have also role played trips abroad so the children have been very well travelled and have visited the beach in Hawaii, the ski slopes of the Alps, Wales and been on Safari – in mind if not in body!

 

The children will also be practising for sports day at the end of term – this is always an entertaining event as anything could happen!

 

We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported the Car Boot Sale on Saturday 13th June. We were blessed with lovely weather – as the previous weekend it did nothing but rain! We were delighted with the turnout as we had an impressive 24 stalls and together with our BBQ stall, cake stall and some of the pre-school parents donating their profits we made a very healthy £281.85 for the Pre-school.  So thank you once again to anyone who ran a stall or came along and spent some money on the stalls. We really do appreciate your support – and watch this space for the next fundraising event.
