2nd June - A very hot day...but Class 1, led by Kerry Goddard,

shouldered their packed lunches and water bottles and went to Stapeley Water Gardens and had a wonderful visit.   I am informed, by a reliable source, that they saw fish, giant snails, lots of reptiles, flamingos, statues (with no clothes on!) and a tortoise named “Trevor”!

11th June - Class 3 went to Lichfield 'Open Door' at the

Cathedral for the day. They were  involved in one of 15 activities on offer that included  making stained glass windows, brass rubbing, ringing handbells, drama and card making They also had a tour of the Cathedral, took part in a service and joined in some singing. Governors, Rev. Peter Barnes and Bob Jeffrey went along, with Miss Jeffery, and Teaching Assistant Naomi Davies.
16th June - we held an orienteering day, in the school grounds.  Pupils were instructed in map reading and the use of a compass.

Year 6 (Final year) Students - Nigel Smith, Assistant Head, from The Corbet School, at Baschurch visited the children in Yr 6 in June and they, in turn, will be visiting The Corbet  for a whole day in July.
