Myddle Pre-School

Myddle Pre-school would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone within the community who helped make our Quiz Night such a big success.  A special thank you goes to the Quiz master himself, John Ansell, for providing all the questions; Duncan and Sian Bowdler for hosting the evening and all the Mums that cooked a fantastic amount of what can only be described as delicious food.  Especially the desserts!!!….  Also a big thank you to Paul and Nicola from the Bridgewater Arms who donated a 3 course meal for 2 for the raffle and, along with all the other very much appreciated raffle prizes, and Norman Shingler for putting his winnings from the 50/50 pound draw back into the pot….a fantastic £397 was raised. Thank you all!!

This month the pre-school have been out in the garden planting strawberries amongst other things and enjoying their “Hot Chocolate” snack time outside!!They are already excited about picking the fruits of their labour, although slightly impatient that they don’t grow any quicker….and along with Arts and Craft week and Cave Building every session is  fun filled.

We are planning now for the Summer Fete along with our Coffee and Play morning 22nd May in the Village Hall.  Anyone wishing to set up a stall for this event please contact us.

The Government is now increasing Pre-School funding hours to 15 hours a week so if anyone is interested in finding out about this or would like to come along for a free trial session please contact on 07983914355.
